Texa is giving away 5 OBD Log fault-finding units worth £120 each
WITH all the technology on modern cars, you need to be faster than Usain Bolt to catch some of the faults that can cause havoc in a car’s electronics.
The OBD Log from Texa aims to solve that problem. The little orange matchbox records up to 40 separate electronic parameters on a car for 90 hours and, because it’s no bigger than a cigarette lighter, you can leave it connected for days of road testing without it causing a nuisance. That means you’ll be able to hook it up to a computer and pinpoint the most mysterious faults quicker and more easily than ever before.
The diagnostic super-sub
The OBD Log was reviewed by Aftermarket’s Test Bench team of garage technicians in the July/August issue. They found it was an ideal way to pinpoint the truly frustrating faults that usually leave garages stumped. “For Man Utd fans out there it’s like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was during his heyday,” wrote our Test Bench team. “It’s not needed every game but it’s extremely effective when called up off the bench.”
To be in with a chance of winning one of the Texa OBD Log units, simply type your answers to the two questions below into the form and hit 'send':
