The Technical Book
The Technical Book is Aftermarket's dedicated technical information supplement
Published twice a year, it contains nothing but techncial articles on the latest vehicle systems, diagnostic tools and repair techniques. It features leading names from the world of technical training, such as Frank Massey, James Dillon and Dave Garratt.
You can now browse through articles in our online digital edition of the October 2009 and April 2010 Technical Books, or download PDFs from earlier editions using the links at the bottom of the page.
Amid all the grievances regarding access to technical information, it's worth remembering the words of Aftermarket writer Frank Massey; what can be built by man, can by repaired by man!
The technical challenges facing the service and repair sector are not insurmountable. The Technical Book is a great tool to help you keep up-to-date with new technology.
A big thanks to all the companies that have supported The Technical Book. By appearing in the supplements, they're showing they want to help you and your workshop tackle jobs quickly and easily. If you've got a problem, they want to help so please give them a call.
Aftermarket is always on the look out for your questions. If you have any Technical Questions please email them to askarthur@aftermarket.co.uk.
