Denso enhances cabin air filters choice
Denso has expanded its choice of Cabin Air Filters (CAFs) in a bid to meet peak demand over the summer months. The company added a number of new Toyota and Lexus CAFs last year. Now, it has boosted the choice with 37 references covering an extra 80 applications.
Among them are marques such as BMW, Citroen, Fiat, Honda and Volvo. In addition, 11 new Toyota applications and seven new Lexus applications have been added to the programme’s existing part numbers. These include the Lexus RX350 and Toyota Rav4 from December 2008, the Toyota Avensis from November 2008 and the Toyota Land Cruiser from September 2007. In total, the range extensions mean Denso has 312 CAF references covering more than 700 unique applications – equivalent to 80% of the European car parc, according to the company.
“Every part features advanced filtration technology to ensure a healthier in-car environment,” said Denso’s aftermarket sales boss Paul Payne. “The fleece material used in Denso filters contains up to five individual layers which trap almost 100% of harmful pollutants and particles, holding them well away from the vehicle interior.”
