Samson AGM batteries from Unipart

Yes, it’s more AGM batteries! This time, Unipart is the company promoting its stock of units for vehicles fitted with stop-start systems.

You may not need huge quantities of them in the short-term but, so the theory goes, these batteries represent the future when it comes to replacement work as more and more cars roll off production lines with micro-hybrid systems fitted.

Unipart’s selection covers 99% of the stop-start vehicle parc which, at the moment, is focussed on high-end Mercedes, Porsche, BMW and Audi cars. Unipart says its battery plates are made using ‘rolled expanded calcium technology’ for better first-time starting power.
