Two tyres have joined Avon’s winter range to tackle dangerous driving conditions. The Ice Touring ST is said to deliver great grip and features wide spacing of the tread blocks, which prevents the tread from clogging up with snow. The Ice Touring ST is available in 16 and 17” rim sizes covering H and V-speed ratings.
The Ranger Ice, shown here, is more rugged with an aggressive tread pattern. Especially developed for modern high performance 4x4s, it features a ‘Snow Groove’. A serrated cut provides extra traction on icy, snowy roads and the silica rubber compound helps to maintain the tread’s flexibility. Sizes are available in 15, 16 and 17”.
