The Crossfire laser measuring system from Power-Tec measures both upper and lower autobody positions in addition to engine bay alignment. It can be placed on the underside of the vehicle, across the engine bay or door opening and can be used with any jig or pulling system. It also attaches to the vehicle to be used on its own.
Measurements are easily taken using the laser and telescopic arm. A telescopic arm gauge can be supplied or it can be adapted to use most tram gauges.
One person can operate the system and it stays on the vehicle to monitor alignment throughout the repair. A moveable target takes away the need for technicians to remember measurements. It is said to be ideal for realigning door pillars, hinges and to check damaged suspension components, control points and wheel alignment.
