The handheld DiScan 8000 fault code reader from AVL DiTest features an integrated information system and optional oscilloscope. A wide range of manufacturers is covered. Functions include key coding, service reset and the kit covers airbag and air conditioning, not just engine management.

It clears fault codes, performs actuator tests and displays live data. Motorcycle and commercial manufacturers are also included.

A wide range of cable adaptors is available for various vehicle manufacturers.
