The ContiComfortKit from Continental Tyres can temporarily fix a flat tyre in under seven minutes, allowing a motorist to continue his or her journey for up to 125 miles at a maximum speed of 50mph. The kit includes a compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter or other 12 volt outlet. This pumps a mixture of liquid and sealant and air into the tyre, sealing the puncture from the inside and re-inflating it.
