Mount Kilimanjaro climb in aid of industry charity BEN
SARAH Sillars, executive chair of the IMI, has now raised an impressive £26,000 in sponsorship money in aid of industry charity BEN – Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund, eight weeks before she climbs the demanding Mount Kilimanjaro alongside her daughter Rachael.
Her sponsorship fund was given a massive boost by Andrew Cocksedge of AA Warranty, pictured here with Sarah, who has donated £13,245 to the cause.
BEN’s director of fundraising Charles Davis says: “All of us here remain in awe of Sarah’s incredible commitment and the challenge she and Rachael are taking on to help us raise funds. Our sincere thanks to Andrew for his wonderful donation – you will make a real difference to the lives of our industry colleagues in need.”
