R2RC campaign heads to You Tube to help win driver support. Click here to take a look

THE RIGHT To Repair Campaign has taken its message onto You Tube, in a bid to win more support from motorists.

The video on the world-renowned site is the latest phase of the campaign that is now directly targetting drivers.

An introductory message on the site from R2RC says: "This video demonstrates the approaching problem facing all independent garages and anyone who owns a vehicle, unless urgent action is taken now."

The two-minute video goes on to explain how, without specific EU legislation, people's freedom to choose where they have their cars repaired will be compromised. It warns that without this legislation, tens of thousands of job losses could occur across Europe.

Numerous other developments in The Right To Repair Campaign are taking place this month. A specimen letter that supporters can send out to MPs and MEPs is now available to download from the campaign's website. There is also a section to help people identify their MP or MEP.

Garages can also sign up to an e-petition, lobbying for the retention of Block Exemption Regulations. For details, go to www.r2rc.co.uk.
